Music

My original training was as a composer, and over the years I've done lots of musical arranging for church contexts. Below is a selection of charts for public-domain hymns and carols suitable for congregational singing and contemporary bands.

Software

Since 2006 I've invested heavily in the Jethro Church Database. The Jethro software is free and open source and many churches host it themselves. Easy Jethro is our paid hosting service that supplies ready-to-use Jethro systems with secure hosting, backups and support. It's been exciting to see Jethro used by dozens of churches around the world to help them to effectively pastor their congregation and manage their operations.

I've also developed a few smaller online tools for my own use. Some of them are a bit rough and are offered here on an "as is" basis.

• TBTempo is an online metronome, with accurate timing, and the ability to save/recall/share settings.
• Hebrew Flowchart Creator takes a chunk of Hebrew interlinear copied from Accordance and presents it in an editable HTML document where you can move words around and add translations whilst still being able to see the interlinear info when you mouse over a word.
• Greek Flowchart Creator takes a chunk of Greek text from Accordance and produces an ODT document ready for marking up the syntax and adding translations and comments.
• Simple Merge does a simple mail merge from TSV data using a DOCX template
